I would rather my work have no favorites than being favorited at random. Today, I uploaded a picture, but not two seconds from uploading it, I got two favorites. Well, at first it was nice, but you know, I checked their websites because I was curious to view their artwork. But I was absolutely appalled when I saw that both of the people have roughly around 1,500 favorites. I mean, it's nice and all to favorite other people's artwork, but seriously. Give some time to showcase some of the art! That's the whole point of the favorite option, isn't it? It's unfair to the artists that would like their artwork showcased at someone else's site, and it's just a really poor and selfish thing to do. When I favorite someone's artwork, it isn't at random. I give the other artists a chance to show off too. I just think that everyone should have a little common courtesy and think before they favorite every single Recent Deviant on the main page.
